We stayed at the Comfort Inn this year, which was within walking distance (pretty much) of all the places we wanted to go.

We encountered a nice little thunderstorm the first night in NYC as we left Planet Hollywood.


The next morning, we were partially soaked at The Today Show.

Over at the OLTL studios, it poured. We sought cover at Tower Records, and I bought an umbrella at the ABC store at the corner. Waiting outside the studio was almost a bust (and after I told Missy how much fun it would be and how many people we would see!), and then "Max" and "Blair" come out of the building ...

After waiting patiently in the rain outside of OLTL studio, Melissa is finally rewarded. "Max" and "Blair" had walked out the studio and up the street until Missy called out, then they actually turned around and came back to meet us and take pictures. The actors and actresses of OLTL are the nicest bunch of people. They really appreciate their fans.

Here we are continuing our tradition of dinner at Planet Hollywood. It's our first night in NYC. Our waiter was awesome. Oh, it rained on us that night, too.
