Emmy 2000

It's so nice to go traveling...

Every May Laura and I head to New York City for the Daytime Emmy Awards Show, and every year we learn more about stalking the stars (just kidding). This year Melissa joined us on our trip (all the way from Oklahoma, now Texas).

We hit all the usual haunts: Planet Hollywood, the Today Show, the Sheraton, One Life to Live studios, FAO Schwartz... We wore out the soles of our shoes walking everywhere (though we did do a lot of cab rides as well). Oh, and it rained on us. Maybe that was the theme for the year 2000: Leave Massachusetts and the Heavens Shall Open Up (right on top of our unprepared little heads).

Photo on right: Two unknown men with actor John Ingle (Edward Quartermaine, General Hospital) and his wife, at the Sheraton, NYC, after the Emmy Awards. I was asked to take this picture by the man next to Mr. Ingle. I guess he was a big fan. (May 2000)
